BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla confirmed that the governing body would meet on Sunday to evaluate possible dates and formats for resumption. “Now that the situation has stabilized, BCCI officials and the IPL Governing Council will meet tomorrow to determine the best schedule to finish the tournament,” Shukla said in a statement to PTI.

According to sources, all ten IPL franchises have begun efforts to bring back their overseas players and coaching staff, most of whom had departed India amid rising border tensions. Some are already in transit and have been advised to pause their travel plans, while others have been asked to prepare for immediate return.
