Shubman Gill Named India’s New Captain Ahead of England Series
In a major shift for Indian cricket, Shubman Gill is 37th Test captain of Team India Shubman Gill will lead the Indian team in five-match series which will be held at England, beginning on June 20. This announcement was made at Wankhede stadium where the BCCI headquarters is marking a new chapter in the post-Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli era, as both senior players have stepped away from red-ball cricket.
